    The Team: Jeremiah

The Quixote Center had a complex and intricate web presence, with eight websites, various merchant portals, and a strong presence on Democracy in Action.  Jeremy’s task as full-time employee was to upgrade and standardize all the sites, consolidate or eliminate superfluous functionality, and expand communications capacity.   He merged three Drupal sites into one (see documentation here), and created a site architecture that presented the multiple projects of the Quixote Center as part of the Quixote family.Quixote Center Website

    Fellowship of Reconciliation

    The Team: Jeremiah, Sondra

The ninety-five year old Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR) needed to update their web presence.  They needed a website that could serve as the nexus for their nation-wide grassroots which would empower users to share content with one another.  We decided to use Organic Groups, a Drupal module that allows users to create their own groups, similar to Facebook groups.  They also needed a website that was easy to use, and allowed content to be embedded from external sources.  And of course, they also wanted a new look, and their old HTML site, as well as two active Drupal sites, to be merged into one.  And on top of that, they needed for all their old URLs to work.  Fellowship of Reconciliation website

    Center For Women’s Intercultural Leadership

    The Team: Jeremiah

The Center for Women’s Intercultural Leadership of Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame wanted to move from their old Dreamweaver site to an easier to maintain content management system that would both save administration time, add new features, and update their look and feel.

They needed a secure system for users to add faculty research abstracts, along with the ability to create their own tags and maintain author profile pages.  They also needed an email newsletter, and the ability to add new newsletters as well as manage subscriptions, along with blog space, a calendar, photo galleries, and normal multimedia functionality.

Using the Drupal content management system, Dirt Circle helped migrate all the old content, retool their look and feel, as well as add a user-friendly interface to the new functionality.

US Labor Education in the Americas Project needed functionality added to their Drupal site. They needed someone to upgrade the site, repair a corrupted database, and build a number of additional features.

    Chicago Metropolitan Sanctuary Alliance

    The Team: Jeremiah

The Chicago Metropolitan Sanctuary Alliance needed a website.  Dirt Circle helped them to come up with a suitable look, and then set up and customized the Drupal content management system in order to meet the needs of this small but vibrant nonprofit.

Dirt Circle provided web development, graphic design, and training so that CRLN could administer their own site and eventually hand off web development tasks to skilled interns.  Dirt Circle provides further training and Drupal expertise to this ongoing project.
